The introduction of the apprenticeship levy back in 2017 raised lots of questions for many.  Designed to put employers in the driving seat when it came to training and development, for some employers managing the apprenticeship levy is a process they are not familiar with and creates extra work.

18 months on and there are still mixed feelings from employers about how the levy is really working for them. However, those employers who have embarked on a new apprenticeship levy training programme are forging ahead with growing numbers creating a positive and loyal workforce.  Here at ITS Group we are seeing a positive experience for both business and employee when it comes to levy funded apprenticeships with increased commitment on both sides.

For many companies the clock will now be ticking as they approach the time limit they have to spend or lose any funds they may have accumulated.  If you are approaching the point in your organisation where you need to spend your levy – don’t panic!   Here at the ITS Group we can help you to ensure that you put the money to good use in your business.

We can offer you a free no obligation consultation to carry out a complete organisational needs analysis of your training requirements.  This enables us to present you with solutions that will make the most of your levy pot.  There are many options and these are not always about recruiting new staff into the business.   The apprenticeship levy can be used very effectively to upskill current staff and many employers are pleasantly surprised at the range of qualifications on offer which can be used to develop their workforce.
